Fortis Hospital launches the first multi-specialty health camp under ‘Swasth Gaon, Khushal Gaon’ initiative

 

 628 villagers attended the multi-speciality health camp in Purva Madhyamik

Noida, 14th October 2019: Fortis Hospital, NOIDA – the leading healthcare solution provider in

Gautam Budh Nagar district – organized a multi-speciality health camp at Purva Madhyamik Vidyalay,

Rohi, Jewar in Greater NOIDA area this Sunday. This is the first camp held under the recently closed

‘Swasth Gaon, Khushal Gaon’ initiative under an MoU signed earlier between district administration

and the hospital. The camp was inaugurated by Mr B.N.Singh, District magistrate of Gautam Budh

Nagar. Also present on the occasion were Dr Anurag, Chief Medical Officer and Mr Hardeep Singh,

Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital Noida among others.

As many as 628 villagers attended this first of its kind multi-speciality health camp where they

received medical consultation and health awareness talks. Doctors from Oncology, Paediatrics,

Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Gynaecology, Nephrology, Neurology, Orthopaedics,

Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and Physiotherapy consulted with the patients. Many patients also

underwent tests like Pap Smear, Mammography, Uric Acid, Hepatitis B & C, Bone Mineral Density,

Pulmonary Function Test etc. This was the first of such camps to be organized under this programme.

Mr Hardeep Singh, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital, NOIDA said, “After our MoU with District

Administration of GB Nagar District, we organized our maiden multi-speciality consultancy health

camp at Jewar. Many villagers availed the consultancy of experts from different specialities like

Oncology, Neurology etc. With the heavy turnout of patients at the camp, I am confident that ‘Swasth

Gaon, Vishal Gaon’ initiative will be a positive step towards the nation’s goal of Swastha Bharat.”
